Neo Moon Reflections - Moving On To March
The Closing Chapter: Black History in Motion
February always moves fast, but Black History doesn’t pause when the month ends. The conversations, the lessons, and the energy we tap into shouldn't be boxed into 28 days—it’s a living thing. This past month was full of movement, from Kendrick Lamar making a statement to local events like the one at Midtown @ Family Pride, where St. Louis came together to showcase Black essence through dance, poetry, and style. Black history isn’t just about remembering; it’s about applying—taking what we know and building on it.
Elemental Alignment: Embracing Inner Forces
As we step into March, it's essential to recognize and harmonize the natural forces within us. Spirit offers unique energies that, when balanced, contribute to our overall well-being and personal growth. March invites us to harness the transformative energy of the Snake and the revitalizing essence of spring. It's a time to set clear intentions, pursue our passions with renewed vigor, and embrace the opportunities that lie ahead. By aligning with the elemental forces within and around us, we can navigate this period of change with resilience and purpose.
What intentions will you set as you move forward into this season of renewal?
Seasonal transitions often prompt introspection and emotional shifts. As we move from winter's introspective phase to the awakening energy of spring, we may experience a natural shedding of emotional layers. This process involves releasing lingering negativity, outdated beliefs, or unresolved emotions that no longer serve our growth.
Embracing this emotional shedding aligns with the Snake's symbolism of renewal. It offers an opportunity to cleanse our mental and emotional spaces, making room for new experiences and perspectives. Engaging in practices such as mindfulness, journaling, or meditation can facilitate this process, promoting mental clarity and emotional balance.
With that being said, Emotional regulation is a crucial skill, especially for Highly Sensitive People (HSPs) who experience emotions more intensely than others. The workbook Find Your Strength provides practical tools to navigate these emotional waves with greater ease and self-awareness. By guiding readers through exercises in self-reflection, boundary-setting, and nervous system regulation, the workbook helps HSPs transform sensitivity from a perceived weakness into a source of inner power. One key takeaway is recognizing emotional triggers and implementing grounding techniques—whether through breathwork, journaling, or mindful movement—to regain balance in overwhelming moments. Through consistent practice, Find Your Strength encourages a shift from emotional reactivity to intentional response, allowing HSPs to embrace their depth of feeling without becoming consumed by it.

This blog isn’t just a resource guide—it’s a divine portal of wisdom, reflected through both you and me. I share my creativity as a way to inspire and heal myself, as well as others.
With my original organization, The Intuitive Wombman (TIW), I aimed to focus on women’s wellness, self-care, and the restorative practices of womb and gut healing.
Mirror Talks Podcast is a space designed to challenge your mind with philosophy and creative practices that may inspire you to cultivate your own habits. With that in mind, I’ll be including prompts here for you to access and reflect on. As I continue to grow, more content will be added, making this journey as interactive and healing as possible. I invite this week to perceive healing as a spiral.
The Spiral of Life – Seeding the Inheritance
Change is a force that moves in cycles, much like the spiral of life—expanding, contracting, reshaping us in ways both seen and unseen. For the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), these shifts can feel even more intense. With the weight of political and social change pressing in, it’s easy to feel lost or consumed by the pressure to evolve. We are tasked with clearing outdated mindsets while still navigating the demands of everyday life. It’s exhausting, but necessary. The key is to remain in the comfort of truth while making space for realism.
The Weight of Inheritance
For many, sensitivity is more than just an emotional trait—it’s an inheritance, passed down through generations who may not have had the space to fully explore or embrace it. We carry the wounds and wisdom of those who came before us, feeling the echoes of their struggles in our own. This inheritance is both a gift and a burden, one that demands conscious tending.
In today’s world, where transformation is often romanticized, the pressure to constantly shed, heal, and transmute can feel like another weight. We’re told to let go of what no longer serves us, but what happens when those things are intertwined with the very fabric of our being? The truth is, healing is not about erasing the past—it’s about making peace with it, deciding what to carry forward, and planting new seeds for those who come after us.
The Sacrificial Lamb: A Role We Must Reject
Throughout history, certain individuals have been expected to bear the suffering of the collective—martyrs for progress, scapegoats for pain, symbols of sacrifice. The archetype of the sacrificial lamb runs deep in culture, religion, and personal experience. But as we step into this new era, we must ask ourselves: Do we have to keep playing this role?
There is a difference between being a healer and being a sacrifice. Too often, HSPs and empaths take on the emotions and struggles of others, believing that by absorbing pain, they are helping to heal it. But true healing does not require self-destruction. It requires boundaries, discernment, and the willingness to stand firm in one’s truth without carrying the burdens that are not ours to bear.
Seeding a New Inheritance
So how do we move forward? How do we plant new seeds while respecting the soil of our past? The answer lies in intentionality.
Embrace Your Sensitivity as Strength – Recognize that your ability to feel deeply is not a weakness but a tool for transformation. Sensitivity allows us to perceive what others overlook, to create from a place of depth, and to nurture spaces of healing.
Release the Pressure to Fix Everything – Not every battle is ours to fight. Some things are simply beyond our control. Focus on what is within your reach and trust that change unfolds in its own time.
Hold Space for Truth and Realism – Growth is not always about light and love. It requires confronting uncomfortable truths, grieving what is lost, and making space for authentic emotions. The key is to remain grounded—acknowledging reality without losing yourself in it.
Set Boundaries Against the Martyr Complex – You are not required to suffer for the world to heal. Be mindful of where you invest your energy and ensure that your empathy does not become self-sacrifice.
Create and Cultivate – Whether it’s through writing, art, community building, or simple acts of care, find ways to plant seeds of change that align with your values. Every small action contributes to a greater legacy.
Closing Reflection
The spiral of life is always moving, always shifting, always offering us new opportunities to choose how we engage with the world. As we continue this journey, let us be intentional in what we inherit, what we release, and what we create. Let us honor the past without being bound by it. And above all, let us remember: we are not here to be sacrifices—we are here to be seeds.
